Information for the Contestants of 2018 Pageant:

The deadline to sign-up is Saturday, June 9th, 6:00pm at Hellada Gallery, 117 Linden Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802. Participating contestants will have to be present during the Polish Day in LA, Long Beach, festival. The contest will be based on votes by the public and judging panel. Each contestant will have to sign-up and fill out the participation form.

The contest is open to all Polish and Polish Californian ladies, age 17 – 25, not married, living in California.  The ceremony of receiving the title Miss Polonia California 2018 will take place during the street festival at 7:15PM.

Rules and regulations:

MISS POLONIA® CALIFORNIA 2018 Pageant will be the 18th annual event on the west coast of The United States. The contest is a gesture of honor from the Polish-California establishment toward the value, charm and grace of Polish beauty. The event promotes the nobility of Polish tradition and culture. The organizer of the event is the photography studio  HELLADA® in Los Angeles.

Miss Polonia California beauty pageant is based on the judgment of personality and attractive presentation of her grace, charm and elegance.  Grades are based on contemporary, commonly accepted ideals of esthetics and beauty.  Points will be awarded by the judge panel consisted of eminent Los Angeles artists and sponsors.  Judges decisions will be final.  The crown and title of Miss Polonia® California 2018 will be held by the winner until the next Miss Polonia® California beauty pageant.

The contest is open to single, never married candidates of Polish origin or nationality with a current California residency, between the ages of 17 to 25.  Candidates have to be 17 years old no later than June 9th, 2018 and 26 years of age no sooner than June 10th, 2018.  California residency will be verified by California ID, California Driving License or any other legal document proving permanent place of living in California.

For both titles, Polish origin or nationality will be verified by signed personal declaration.  Identity and date of birth will be verified by driving license or passport.


All finalists are required to:

- make provisions for their travel expenses between place of living and Los Angeles. – make provisions for their own food expenses during the finals in Los Angeles. – provide their own two outfits; free choice outfit, and the evening dress.

- sign the model release for use of all photographic and film materials recorded during the finals.

- sign an obligation to represent and promote received title in person during three Polish events within following year. (For the winners only).

Finalists who will arrive to Los Angeles from outside California will be able to inquire for free lodgment during the finals.


  June 9th, 2018, 7:15 PM, (Saturday). The finals and gala coronation ceremony.  The winner of Miss Polonia® California 2018 will be announced.


 The finals for both titles will include the participation from the audience. Judges and the audience will award the competition points. The largest amount of points accumulated that evening will determine the winner of Miss Polonia® California.

  Criteria for receiving points from the judges:

 - appearance on stage in free choice outfit (1 to 10 point)

 Rules for receiving points from the audience:

 Each guest to the Gala Finals will be allowed to assign two votes for two of the finalists, (one vote per contestant).

Audience will be able to award the finalists from 0 to 30 points.
