Special Event YOU ARE INVITED

San Fernando Valley PWA-814:

President’s Polish Potluck Luncheon, Monday, January 18, 2016

11:30 am – 1:30 pm

Let’s start 2016 off with a casual get-together at my home with a Polish Potluck luncheon. This will be our 2nd year!

 Bring something Polish.

Do not worry if we have duplicates – I’m sure it all will work out and we’ll have a lot of fun!

We all make our special Polish dishes a little different and that is what is so wonderful about a potluck.  A main dish for 6-8 people, a desert, a salad, some condiments, etc. would also be appropriate. If you don’t make it yourself, several stores in southern California carry a variety of Polish items – cookies, jam, sausages, pierogi, etc. If you have any Polish dishware, you can serve it on it. Hopefully, there will be leftovers to take back to your family members. If you go to www.wikipedia.org/wiki/polish_cusine you can find a multitude of Polish foods

A Message from our Polish friends in Camarillo:

Our next picnic potluck style will take place on

Sunday, January 8th 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in “Pitts Ranch Park” at Flynn Road in Camarillo.

We would like to remind you that our traditional picnics take place on the second Sunday of each month without any exceptions, and regardless of whether the announcement is sent out or not, and also regardless of any weather conditions.  This means that we meet “rain or shine”.  Usually, we are able to get picnic tables under the roof, and now we even have some beautiful canopies.  Therefore, weather changes do not get in a way of our meetings, enjoying delicious food, as well as chatting in the wonderful company.  There are always plenty of funny stories going around.

So, please do come, and share this message with all your Polish friends, as well as relatives.  Also, please bring them with you if you can. See you soon.  With best wishes!  Beata Musielak
