At Village Theater Foyer

Beata Kardewicz is a visual artist and a performing musician in Orange County, CA. A native of Poland, her early childhood revolved around visual arts and music. At the age of 13, she was already working with oil painting and other medias. Even though she is a self-taught artist, she had her first exhibition at the age of 17.
In 2005, she became a certified iconographer. While studying her Master’s degree in music, she also found time to improve her oil painting and drawing techniques as well as expand her personal growth and knowledge. Oil painting and dry pastels became her favorite media.
Music and painting are deeply rooted in Kardewicz’s life and that can be seen in her painting collection and style. She is not only inspired by impressionistic landscape painters like Monet and Pissarro, but also by impressionistic music by Debussy and Ravel.
She is known for paintings that exude a fluidity of impressionistic harmony, delicate tones, wave like strokes, and the constant pursuit to capture the “moment in motion” on the canvas.

Zapraszamy serdecznie
