The influence of a bi-national star on the American stage and in shaping her prominent son’s career, a pianist-turned-civil engineer, and the impact of his 20th century bridges on American economy and expansion. Two films that explore the artistic souls and scientific minds of a distinguished immigrant family while crossing boundaries, cultures, classes and eras.
